Is early check-in possible?

Yes. Early check-in is available for a fee of $25 for arrivals before 2:00pm, subject to availability. We recommend contacting the hotel in advance to request an early check-in, as it cannot be guaranteed.

Is late check-out possible?

Yes. Late check-out until 1:00pm is available for a fee of $30, subject to availability. Please contact the front desk prior to your departure to request a late check-out.

What is your standard cancellation policy?

For short-term stays (1–14 days), cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid applicable charges.For extended stays (14 days or longer), cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival.

What is included in the kitchen?

Our kitchens are fully equipped with paper towels, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, baking/serving dishes, mixing bowls, a toaster, a dishwasher, cleaning supplies, wine glass, a coffee maker, and coffee cups.

You can enjoy access to Foundry Wellness on Floor 2. Guests have access to the Fitness Center, Indoor & Outdoor Thermal Areas, Premium Locker Rooms, Foundry Fuel Bar. Additional fees may apply.

Do you allow pets? What is the fee?

We are a dog-friendly facility. The pet fee is $75 per stay. If you dog is left unattended in the room, they must be securely kenneled. If you dog barks excessively while left alone, you will be asked to remain with your pet or take them with you when you leave the room.

Is a deposit required to make a reservation?

Yes. A valid credit card is required to guarantee most reservations. The card may be charged if you do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date or if you cancel within the applicable cancellation period. For certain special events or peak periods, a deposit or full prepayment may be required at the time of booking.

When is housekeeping?

For guests staying 13 days or less, stayover housekeeping service is provided every Monday and Thursday. For guests staying 14 days or longer, housekeeping is provided once per week. If you need additional service during your stay, please contact the front desk for assistance.

Where are the trash chutes?

Trash chutes are located across from Rooms 302 and 402. Recycling bins are located near the loading dock on Level 2 of the building. When disposing trash, please press button to open the trash chute before placing your garbage inside.

How do  you use the Washer/Dryer?

Using the in-room washer/dryer is quick and convenient. Simply open the door and load your clothes, then close the door securely. Press the Power button, turn the dial to select your desired wash cycle, and press Start/Pause to begin. The machine automatically washes and dries your laundry, so there is no need to transfer clothes between cycles. For your convenience, laundry detergent and fabric softener are preloaded and ready to use

Is the Lakeview Guesthouse Smoke free?

No. Our building is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including all guest rooms, balconies, and common areas. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests.

What are you parking rates?

Public parking is available in the Skywalk Medical District Ramp – Lakeside, located at 302 E. 1st Street, Duluth, MN 55805. Daily parking is available for $15 per day, and monthly parking options are offered based on availability.
